Select FDA students began competing in 2014 and attend two competitions a year. The team is divided into three age divisions: Minis,  Juniors, and Teens. Each spring dancers travel to the Bay Area to compete at regional competitions.  FDA students have competed at Tremaine, New York City Dance Alliance, JUMP, 24seven, and Hollywood Vibe.  In 2027, the FDA Dance Team plans to compete at Hollywood Vibe in Burlingame and JUMP in Santa Clara.
